Solar power plant located on the roofs of industrial buildings in Kansas This is an installation of 500 SolarWorld modules of 215 W each. A SolarMax 100 C inverter has been used. The peak power is 107,500 W and the annual production of, approximately, 169,215 kWh.

This is a 10.320 kW installation, consisting of 48 plates of 215 kWp each, which occupies an area of 135 m2. For this installation, 3 inverters of 3 kW each, were used. The installation is capable of producing 15,155 kW / h per year.

Until not long ago, photovoltaic installations were located most frequently in the, so-called, solar farms, situated in the countryside. But, due to a change in legislation, the government now encourages the installation of photovoltaic on rooftops, usually industrial and also on appartment buildings, where the neighbours can decide to make their roof useful, ensuring themselves an income during the more than 25 year average duration of an installation.
