Solar plates installation

There are 48 monocrystalline plates of 120 Wp on a 46.76 m2 area. The inverter is an AC Atersa Taurus PR 6000 / 8 with 230 V. of nominal voltage and 5 kW of nominal power.

This installation was built on the roof of a shed, in a farm. The solar plates installation is capable of supplying electricity to 1 family and prevents the emission of about 900 kilos of CO2 per year.

On-roof installation, in general, is ideal for this type of renewable energy.

Solar photovoltaic is only one type of renewable energy. We can also take advantage of solar energy, which generates hot water and heating and its application can benefit both, domestic and industrial buildings.

As far as the terminology used for naming the plates is concerned, when we use the term plates or panels, we are talking about both, thermal and photovoltaic plates, whereas, if we say modules, it refers only to photovoltaic modules. Solar collectors, on the other hand, are always thermal plates.
