Solar energy is particularly useful in places like nurseries, residences for the elderly and sports facilities. Hotels and camping sites can also take advantage of its benefits and even companies in the industrial sector can utilize solar energy to produce hot water for showers for their employees or for industrial processes that require large amounts of hot water, for example, meat or livestock industries, that need to clean the premises daily.

A solar thermal installation for generating hot water, basically consists of plates, the accumulator which accumulates the heat like a thermos does, a solar control and hydraulic pumps and circuits. An engine room is needed to house most of these devices. Sometimes the dwelling, particularly if it´s an apartment building, does not have enough space and the engineering team from Soliclima comes up with solutions to accommodate the devices.
