It´s all a matter of doing preliminary calculations that will indicate how many solar panels are needed to supply to all the homes involved, with hot water.
Once the calculations are carried out, the panels are installed. But, to proceed with the installation, is not enough to know the number of panels necessary, it´s also important to calculate their inclination, to have the maximum production of hot water. This takes into account the effect of sunlight on the panel. Depending on the angle of incidence of the sunrays, the panels will produce greater or lesser efficiency. With this data, the supports that will maintain this inclination will be built and, at the same time, they will hold the panels.
Next is the interconnection, through pipes, of each solar panel, to an accumulator or hot water tank. To minimize heat losses during the transporting of the hot water, the pipes will be insulated, but, we´ll also seek that they have the shortest length possible, to avoid any further loss of heat
