Solar hot water + solar heating + solar heated indoor swimming pool in El Paso, New Mexico Solar energy can also be used for heating an indoor swimming pool.
The role of solar thermal collectors is to harness the sun's energy and use it to heat water for domestic use.
Solar hot water and air conditioning facility in San Francisco, California Installation with an air/water heat pump, for cooling and heating the radiant floor and humidity control, through the support of fancoils, production of sanitary hot water by means of the heat pump, with the advantage that the heat pump has a COP of 3.85, thus, the water heating is more economic and solar support with two Soliclima solar collectors, located on the outside, shaped as an awning.
Thermal solar energy installation in an apartment building in San Francisco, California Thermal solar energy is also applicable for apartment buildings. In this case, we have an example of supplying sanitary hot water to 22 apartments.
Solar hot water facilities in apartment buildings in Los Angeles, California Not only single family homes can benefit from solar thermal energy. Apartment buildings can also benefit from this renewable energy. In fact, the Technical Building Code requires the installation of a solar thermal system for all new construction, since March 2006.

It´s all a matter of doing preliminary calculations that will indicate how many solar panels are needed to supply to all the homes involved, with hot water.
Once the calculations are carried out, the panels are installed. But, to proceed with the installation, is not enough to know the number of panels necessary, it´s also important to calculate their inclination, to have the maximum production of hot water. This takes into account the effect of sunlight on the panel. Depending on the angle of incidence of the sunrays, the panels will produce greater or lesser efficiency. With this data, the supports that will maintain this inclination will be built and, at the same time, they will hold the panels.
Next is the interconnection, through pipes, of each solar panel, to an accumulator or hot water tank. To minimize heat losses during the transporting of the hot water, the pipes will be insulated, but, we´ll also seek that they have the shortest length possible, to avoid any further loss of heat
