What are subsidized renewable energies?

Solar thermal energy uses the heat generated by the sun and channels it for the production of hot water and heating, although, more and more companies have realized the benefit of using this resource and have begun to use it, not only for showers for their employees, but, also, for their industrial processes.

Photovoltaic solar energy generates electricity through the photovoltaic effect, whereby, a photon from sunlight yields its energy to an electron of the atom in the semiconductor present in the solar cell, the electron moves because of this energy and its movement is what we know as electricity.

Biomass is a very general term that comes to define the production of energy by means of organic matter. This matter can be grown specifically for this purpose or it can come from recycling, for example, used cooking oil to produce biodiesel. There are several companies in Spain that are engaged in this practice.

Soliclima does not recycle oil and our involment in the field of biomass focus, mainly, on boilers and pellet stoves. We also offer boilers that use almond shells or other types of recycled biomass, such as, olive bones.

Wind energy is also subsidized, although, in this case, we are not involved in the construction of large wind farms, but, we focus, instead, on small installations of this renewable energy, that we usually combine with solar photovoltaic energy. This is the best combination when it is necessary to supply electricity to homes or farms that have no access to the electric grid.
