Cogeneration

Cogeneration is an energy generation system that produces electricity by combustion and uses residual heat to produce domestic heating.

This ability to produce two different types of energy make it ideal for farms or rural dwellings. Its efficiency is very high. We usually need three energy units to produce one of electricity; cogeneration however only needs 1,5 units.

In the first picture we can see engine room completed. Closet on the left is where batteries are kept. Next to it, on the right, we can see water deposit called accumulator, because it keeps water warm as a vacuum flask. Next device that we
can see is cogenerator itself. Finally, nest to the door is the high performace boiler.

In posterior pictures we can see the batteries closet open, an aerotherm to disipate heat in summer, when it is not necessay for heating, hydraulic pumps, smoke output and other devices.
