Solar array in Colorado
Rural electrification in Colorado

Installation for a single family home lived in year-round in Colorado. Rural electrification

Autonomous photovoltaic system for daily use in single-family home with 10 plates of 125 W each, a solar regulator, 2 batteries of 12 V, a 2200 W inverter and a 8.6 kVA generator .

The installed capacity is 1.25 kWp for an average consumption of 4.2 kWh/day. For an installation with this power demand, 12 stationary batteries of 12 V each are required, in order to store the electricity generated by the plates. The solar plates were placed facing directly towards the south, to increase their effectiveness. Rear view of the photovoltaic modules. The modules are mounted on a stable structure that ensures its integrity against the weather.
