Swimming pool heating in Salinas, California

Heated indoor swimming pool, dehumidification, condensation boiler and continuous power supply system.

Heated swimming pool by heat pump with a dehumidification system. A battery run power system, conected to the grid, has been installed to kick in, when power outages, due to flooding, occur.

The white grids seen on the wall are part of the dehumidification system. Generally, the entire system is installed inside the pool room, but, in this case, since the garage was adjacent to the pool room, it was placed there. This will prevent the placing of electrical machinery in the vicinity of the water.

The condensing gas boiler is from Wolf. Thanks to a technology developed in Germany, this type of boiler offers fuel savings of up to 40% compared to conventional boilers, although, they can even reach a higher savings percentage.

Uninterrupted power supply: the fact that the garage is located below the sewer system, makes it possible to be flooded in case of very heavy rains, so, the owners decided to buy a back up battery system to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the water pump in the event of flooding.
